Candlelight Stroll
December 2, 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 & 18
Saturdays 5-9pm; Sundays 4-8pm
Candlelight Stroll showcases 350 years of seasonal and holiday traditions against the backdrop of Strawbery Banke’s furnished historic houses. Each winter night, the grounds glow with hundreds of lighted candle lanterns, costumed role players and performers recreate the traditions of times past, the houses are adorned with thousands of hand-made decorations crafted from live greens and dried flowers collected from the Museum gardens, and the air is filled with the sound of holiday music and the scent of woodsmoke from the bonfire.
Stop by The Boatshop to see boats constructed by our summer camp participants as well a replica wherry under construction.
