Make a weekend of it!

Beautiful and historic Portsmouth, located on the New Hampshire seacoast, is the perfect destination for a weekend. This little big town offers a wide array of well-respected restaurants, a rich arts and culture scene, and a variety of historic museums and sites for you to enjoy after your Boatshop program (or for your spouse and family to enjoy while you are at the Boatshop!)

For self-sufficient travelers, we recommend The Sailmaker's House, located conveniently next door to Strawbery Banke Museum and within walking distance of downtown Portsmouth's waterfront, restaurants, galleries and cultural venues.

Information on local events, travel and lodging, restaurants, shopping and more can be found at the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce's website.
